This flatweave kilim from Black Sea region of Turkey is made with pure organic hemp.
The colors in this flatweave are creamy tonal off white with slight tonal variations in the hemp . There are little bows tied that represent wishes the weaver made while weaving this rug which consists of 6 pieces sewn together by the weaver using a unique technique
Pure hemp is cool and soft to the touch and Circa 1970’s
Actual size is: 6’8” x 8’7”
It has been professionally washed, blocked, starched and restored.
Condition: immaculately clean; ends bound securely
*Fold marks will decrease when laid flat.
